Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements
The joint Australian, state and territory governments' Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) provide a range of financial assistance to the natural disaster-declared areas in each state or territory.
For the bushfires which impacted parts of central Queensland from 22 November 2018, the available assistance measures include:
- Personal Hardship Assistance Scheme in the six (6) local government areas of:
- Bundaberg – limited to suburb of Winfield
- Gladstone - limited to the suburbs of Ambrose, Baffle Creek, Bracewell, Captain's Creek, Deepwater, Machine Creek, Mount Larcom, Oyster Creek, Rules Beach and Taunton
- Isaac – limited to the suburbs of Blue Mountain and Carmila
- Livingstone – limited to the suburb of The Caves
- Mackay – limited to the suburbs of Bloomsbury, Broken River, Campwin Beach, Crediton, Eungella, Dalrymple Heights, Finch Hatton, Netherdale and Sarina Beach
- Rockhampton – limited to the suburbs of Alton Downs, Gracemere, Kabra, Nine Mile and Stanwell
- Essential Services Safety and Reconnection Scheme in the six (6) local government areas of:
- Bundaberg – limited to the suburb of Winfield
- Gladstone – limited to the suburbs of Ambrose, Baffle Creek, Bracewell, Captain's Creek, Deepwater, Machine Creek, Mount Larcom, Oyster Creek, Rules Beach and Taunton

- Counter disaster operations available in the eight (8) local government areas of:

Category C Assistance
A Category C Community Recovery Fund has been activated to further assist bushfire affected communities. Funding is available for a range of measures including the employment of Community Development Officers, funding for a Community Mental Health Program, targeted funding grants for clean-up of community facilities and resilience building initiatives.
