Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA)
This assistance is provided through the joint Australian and State government Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) and applies to the natural disaster declared areas in each state.
NDRRA assistance for the 17 February 2011 severe weather and flooding event associated with Tropical Cyclone Dianne has been made available for the 5 local government areas of Laverton, Leonora, Menzies, Sandstone and Wiluna.
NDRRA assistance includes:
- certain counter disaster operations,
- personal hardship and distress assistance,
- restoration of essential public assets,
- interest rate subsidies for small businesses and primary producers, and
- professional advice grants and freight subsidies for primary producers.
