Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA)
Commonwealth financial assistance is being made available to the Western Australian Government through the NDRRA for severe thunderstorms and associated flooding that commenced throughout Western Australia on 3 November 2011.
The NDRRA notification identifies 6 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Albany, Denmark, Dumbleyung, Narrogin, Wagin and West Arthur as being affected.
NDRRA assistance is provided to Local Governments, including:
- counter Disaster Operations, including clean-up, and
- restoration of essential public assets (Roads).
