Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA)
This assistance is provided through the joint Australian and State government Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) and applies to the natural disaster declared areas in each state.
NDRRA assistance for the 10 March 2011 Monsoonal Trough and Associated Flooding has been made available for the three local government areas of Derby-West Kimberley, Halls Creek and Wyndham-East Kimberley.
NDRRA assistance includes:
- certain counter disaster operations
- personal hardship and distress assistance
- restoration of essential public assets
- interest rate subsidies for small businesses and primary producers, and
- professional advice grants and freight subsidies for primary producers.
