Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements
This assistance is provided through the joint Australian and State Government Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) and applies to the natural disaster declared areas in each state.
NDRRA assistance for the 23 November 2011 Bushfire has been made available for the Local Government Area of Augusta-Margaret River.
NDRRA assistance includes:
- personal hardship and distress assistance
- up to $10,000 for the replacement of white goods and floors coverings
- up to $ 10,500 for essential repairs to make houses habitable
- restoration of essential public assets for local councils
- interest rate subsidies for loans of up to $150,000 for small businesses and primary producers; and
- professional advice grants and freight subsidies for primary producers.
Individuals suffering from personal hardship as a result of the bushfires may be eligible for emergency assistance. Enquire about the emergency assistance.
