Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA)
This assistance was provided through the joint Australian and State Government's Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) and applies to the natural disaster declared areas in each state.
NDRRA assistance for the 5 February 2011 bushfires has been made available for the five local government areas of Armadale, Canning, Chittering, Serpentine Jarrahdale and Swan.
NDRRA assistance includes:
- certain counter disaster operations,
- personal hardship and distress assistance,
- restoration of essential public assets,
- interest rate subsidies for small businesses and primary producers, and
- professional advice grants and freight subsidies for primary producers.
Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment
The Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) was made available until 7 September 2011.
