Southern Queensland Flooding (November - December 2011)
Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA)
This assistance is provided through the joint Australian and State Government's Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) and applies to the natural disaster declared areas in each State.
Commonwealth financial assistance is being made available to the Queensland Government through the NDRRA for the severe rainfall and associated flooding that commenced in November and continued into December 2011.
The NDRRA assistance is available in the four Local Government Areas of Balonne Shire Council, Bulloo Shire Council, Goondiwindi Shire Council and Maranoa Shire Council.
NDRRA assistance includes:
- Restoration of essential public assets.
