2006 Middle East Crisis

During the Middle East Crisis in July 2006, the Australian Government provided extensive assistance for Australians seeking to leave Lebanon. This assistance included evacuation, consular assistance, crisis management, personal support and reception assistance. An Australian Government helpline on support available during the conflict was also established for people seeking information.
