This year marks the third anniversary of the 1 October 2005 bombings in Bali. The Australian Consulate in Bali will hold a ceremony to commemorate the loss of life, and acknowledge those who survived and the families of victims on 1 October 2008. For security reasons, attendance at the ceremony will be by invitation only.

1 October Commemorations
The Australian Consulate General in Bali will be holding a private commemoration service for the Second Anniversary of the 1 October 2005 Bali bombings for survivors and families of victims. Western Australia
On Friday, 12 October 2007, the Western Australian Premier, Alan Carpenter, will lay a wreath at dawn (approximately 5.41am) at the Bali Memorial, Fraser Avenue, Kings Park and Botanic Garden in memory of those lost in the Bali Bombings on 12 October 2002 and 1 October 2005.
