Personal Support Needs and Counselling

In Australia, you can call the Centrelink Bali Bombings October 2005 Hotline on 180 2299. This hotline is available from Monday to Friday, between 08:00am and 8:15pm (Australian Eastern Daylight Time). Callers outside of these hours have the option to use the message service.

Calls from public phones and mobiles incur the cost associated with the relevant phone plan.

In Indonesia, Centrelink offers a reverse-charges service on 0892 029 966. If you are calling from Bali you will need to contact a local operator and ask for the call to be reverse charged to Australia. You will then be connected directly to the Centrelink Bali Bombings October 2005 Hotline.

Survivors and families affected of the 12 October 2002 bombing can continue to access counselling through their Family Liaison Officer at any time. The hotline is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm (Eastern Daylight Standard Time). Out of these hours a recorded message will include a mobile phone number to contact a Centrelink Family Liaison Officer. In Australia they can be contacted by phoning the 2002 Bali Hotline on 13 61 25.

A hotline is available in each State and Territory to meet the personal support needs of the survivors and families who lost loved ones. These hotlines provide a referral to local Personal Support services.
